Some vape users have been left surprised after learning how the single-use e-cigarettes are made
If you’re a religious vape-user, then you might want to see this video on how they’re made.
Vaping has been on the rise in recent years – among young adults in particular. In 2021, a Centers for Disease Control (CDC) report found that adults aged between 18 and 24 were most likely to use e-cigarettes.
Meanwhile, last year it was reported that almost three million middle and high school students in the US admitted to current use of a tobacco product.
As the use of cigarettes has increased, so has the awareness of the health concerns that come with using them.
For example one man was left with a one percent chance of survival after being a vape-user for several years.
And if the news of people’s health scares from using vape pens wasn’t enough to put you off, then a video of how they’re made might.
In the 2022 video that’s had over 340,000 views, one brand of vape is seen being made from start to finish – and the production line in particular left people concerned.
Underneath the video, one person commented: “You are telling me that they are touching the tips of the vape without any glove on??

“Bruuuh i would not buy these lol I ain’t looking to have a stranger finger print on my vape tips when i buy it.”
Another person wrote: “Well, that doesn’t look very appetizing, how they attach the mouthpieces without gloves, see 0:28.
“That was definitely the last one I bought after seeing that. (gag).”
Others have commented on the amount of plastic going into it, with one writing: “What a wasteful product.”
While the way some vape pens have left people disgusted online, the inside of them hasn’t left people feeling much better.

A TikTok shared a video of them tearing apart an e-cigarette to reveal a foam tube seemingly tinged slightly orange due to the nicotine, as well as wires helping to power the device.
Vapes work by using a battery to heat up the liquid with metal coils, turning it into an aerosol that users then inhale.
And the coils inside vapes can be made up of an array of substances, including kanthal, an alloy of iron, chromium and aluminium, or a combination of nickel and chromium.
With this in mind, some research has shown that vapes can be a potential source of exposure to toxic metals.
